Bookstore Management | Academic Materials | Textbooks
Follett built and maintains the largest textbook selection
in the industry. There is no academic field that we don't
cover. If we don't have it, you can bet we will have
it soon. Ask the publishers. Ask the professors. They'll
tell you the same thing. Follett is the source. In stock and on time
Follett understands the importance of stocked inventory
and timely delivery. That is why we work closely with faculty
members to ensure that the books they need are in stock.
Just as important, we retain all required textbooks in
stock throughout the academic term to support your customers.
Our fully computerized inventory control system tracks
all titles and updates our database of virtually every
college
textbook plus an additional 80,000 other books commonly
used in the classroom. Our system also provides sales
information
from prior semesters to make sure we order the right titles
in the right quantities. Communication is key to service
At Follett, we continually update faculty members on the
status of their orders. We electronically transmit purchase
orders directly to publishers and know within 24 hours
if texts are available. You can depend on Follett with
last-minute orders and reorders as we routinely use next-day
delivery to ensure textbook availability. Absolutely the largest used book inventory available
Follett has more used textbooks than any other campus bookstore
management company. We consistently carry more than 100,000
different titles and have over two million used textbooks
in inventory to ensure that you will receive your needed
shipment. We also help you and your end customer save
money by routinely transferring used books among our 750
campus
bookstores so that we can substantially increase the
used-to-new book ratio and provide students with significant
savings.
Buyback Support
The availability of used texts and a solid buyback program
are important to today's cost-conscious students.
Our generous buyback program lets students know we care
about their budgets. We will buy back textbooks that have
been adopted for the upcoming term at up to 50% of the
purchase price. We also purchase non-adopted books at current
market prices. |
