Job Description:
The intern will perform assigned duties under the direction of an experienced professional, and will work in a learning environment and gain knowledge and experience that will augment his/her college education.
- Paid, hourly, full-time, 40 hours week
- Temporary housing assistance may be available on a limited basis
Minimum Qualifications:
- Senior standing, currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
- GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above
- Pursuing bachelor's degree in the primary functional area of the department
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to identify and solve problems
- Strong computer proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point, with the ability to efficiently learn new technologies
- Excellent customer service acumen
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Previous work experience is a plus
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the department intern manager you will perform a variety of responsibilities in the Training and Development Department that will include, but are not limited to: assisting with current training and development projects and completing general tasks and duties within the department. The intern will also be assigned a specific project to manage that will involve gathering and generating analytics on Talent Management as well as tracking and measuring training efforts.
Educational requirement: pursuing a major in Human Resources or Organizational Development
