Home Office Internship Program/Integrated Marketing

Job Description:

The intern will perform assigned duties under the direction of an experienced professional, and will work in a learning environment and gain knowledge and experience that will augment his/her college education.
  • Paid, hourly, full-time, 40 hours week
  • Temporary housing assistance may be available on a limited basis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Junior or senior standing, currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above
  • Pursuing bachelor's degree in the primary functional area of the department
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Strong computer proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point, with the ability to efficiently learn new technologies
  • Knowledge of Illustrator a plus
  • Excellent customer service acumen
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Previous work experience is a plus

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the department intern manager you will perform a variety of responsibilities in the Integrated Marketing organization that will include, but are not limited to: providing all stores with information about available marketing collateral (i.e. ads, templates, copy, etc.) using the AdFinder tool and updating the “Big Plan on Campus” with the new Buyback campaign as well as new ideas, tips, and best practices to execute a more successful buyback marketing program. Using the newly approved logo platform, will propose, review, assess, and assign bookstores to the appropriate logo type. May also contribute the designing of new logos. Will create a database of athletics contracts including all deliverables, crossed with model shot requests for upcoming year and number of ads per season.

Educational requirement: pursuing a major in Marketing or Business Administration
