Job Description:

The intern will perform assigned duties under the direction of experienced personnel. Follett provides a learning environment, and the intern will gain knowledge and experience that will augment his/her college education.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Senior standing, currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above
  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in the primary functional area of the department
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Strong computer proficiencies in HTML, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to efficiently learn new technologies
  • Excellent customer service acumen
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Previous retail experience is a plus

eCommerce – Marketing Department

Job summary:
Under the supervision of the department intern manager you will perform a variety of responsibilities in the efollett Marketing and Operations Department that will include, but are not limited to: supporting ecommerce initiatives, projects and programs. This may include assisting in the store level online catalog product assortment and selection; daily review and maintenance of product images, descriptions, booklists, store level content and store events on website; assisting in tracking web banner logos and images; and creating reporting and tracking metrics for web site program compliance.

Educational requirement: pursuing a major in Marketing, Computer Science, or Business
