Job Description:

The intern will perform assigned duties under the direction of an experienced professional, and will work in a learning environment and gain knowledge and experience that will augment his/her college education.
  • Paid, hourly, full-time, 40 hours week
  • Must complete pre-employment background check process

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Junior or senior standing, currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above
  • Pursuing bachelor's degree in the primary functional area of the department
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Strong computer proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, with the ability to efficiently learn new technologies
  • Intermediate (or better) skills in Java development
  • Experience with MyEclipse and JUnit is a plus
  • Excellent customer service acumen
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Previous work experience is a plus

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the department intern manager you will perform a variety of responsibilities in Information Technology’s eCommerce organization that will include, but are not limited to: enhancing automated testing capabilities by developing automated test cases and other projects as assigned. Emphasis will be on automated testing technologies and practices with the opportunity to work hands-on with tools such as Cruise Control, JUnit, and Ant.

Educational requirement: pursuing a major in Computer Science; emphasis in Software Development preferred and coursework in Java development required
