Steve began his 34-year college store career in 1976 at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois. He is a 1979 Liberal Arts Graduate of Prairie State College and when Follett was awarded the contract to serve GSU in the same year, he assumed the management role of the bookstore. During his tenure with Follett, Steve has served in progressively responsible management positions, from managing a single store, to director of all retail operations throughout North America. Steve is also active in the National Association of College Stores (NACS), and served a three-year term on its Board of Trustees.
Steve was promoted to his current position of Senior Vice President—Director of Retail Operations and Sales in August 2009. In this role, Steve is responsible for all retail store operations as well as new store contracts and campus relations. |
