Fred has spent his entire professional life in and around higher education. Joining Follett Higher Education Group in 1982, Fred served in many management roles in our wholesale business. In 1999, Fred led the company’s Strategic Planning and Communication functions. From 2001 to 2005, Fred took on a leadership position with DeVry Inc, as Regional Vice President. In 2005, Fred returned to Follett in his current role as Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Follett he served as the associate director for the Rhode Island Committee for Humanities, a state-based program of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and was an assistant professor of Philosophy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. He holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Northwestern University, and a MBA from Bryant University. |
